A self taught writer/creator and a lifelong wrestling fan, Mike decided to meld his two loves into Headlocked. Mike’s also done work on two horror licenses and has another horror project in the works. In his spare time, Mike is also an opinionated wrestling blogger for the Fighting Geek.

JERRY "THE KING" LAWLER

From his wars in Memphis, his legendary feud with Andy Kaufmann, to his time as the voice of WWE Raw, WWE Hall of Famer Lawler has been a legend in the sport of pro-wrestling for over three decades.

In addition to being a Hall of Fame wrestler, he is also an extremely talented artist. In 2008, Lawler’s painted cover to Headlocked: The Tryout #1 became his first published comic book art. Since then he’s done covers for Zorro, Green Hornet, Batman and Robin, and WWE Heroes. In 2009, he signed on to be the regular cover artist for the Headlocked series. ( Visit KingLawler.com )

JASON ARTHUR

A professional letterer with credits from Dark Horse, Image, Devil's Due, and Top Cow (among others) Jason has been working in the field of comics in one capacity or another over the last 15 years.

JESSICA GRAVEL

Born in Beauport, Quebec, graduated from College of Outaouais with a Fine Arts diploma, and University of Quebec in Outaouais with a Bachelor's Degree in Arts and Design, or more specifically in the Graphic Novelist Program. Headlocked is Jess' first US published work.

SCOTT LOST

A 10 year fixture on the SoCal wrestling scene, Scott Lost has held numerous titles, wrestled around the world, & was co-holder of the PWG tag team championship 5 different times. In July of '10, Lost wrestled his final match, losing to long-time rival Scorpio Sky. These days, Scott can be found working on his very own top-secret creator-owned comic book project & posting sketches on Twitter. His first published comic book art was a Johnny Wrestling pin-up that was included in the Headlocked: A Single Step TPB

VINNIE TARTAMELLA

A self taught freelance artist, Vinnie has done numerous covers including Hack/Slash for Image and Bluewaters’s Female Force line. He’s also done work for Diamond Select, Toybiz, Bowen Designs, and was the lead designer for McFarlane Toys. His work has been featured on MSNBC, CNN, NBC, Larry King, Regis, and The View.

RANDY VALIENTE

Randy Valiente is a prolific and established artist and one of the most active advocates for support and recognition for Philippine komiks in the country. He has worked as a game developer, character designer, and graphic artist. At the age of 14, Randy Valiente started as a comics illustrator in 1988 and became a full-time writer/novelist in 1995.

GARY YAP

Gary Yap began his professional career in comics, including titles for DC Comics. In 1997 he moved into animation, earning two Emmy nominations for his work on King of the Hill and The Simpsons. In 2002, he started the controversial EPIC WAR wrestling promotion in Southern California in an attempt to redefine the perception and presentation of independent wrestling.

Gary currently runs Art Over Life Studios and continues to work on projects, including Ultraviole(n)t and EPIC WAR.
